Take tram no. 7 in direction “Wollishoferplatz” as far as the stop “Museum Rietberg”.

Leave the tram by the front door next to the driver’s cabin, go around a hedge, and proceed for roughly 4 metres until you reach a wall.

Turn left and follow the wall for about 70 metres. Be careful, along the wall you will encounter a few obstacles such as traffic signs and billboards.

Follow the wall until you reach the corner, then turn right into the street “Sternenstrasse”.

Continue for about five metres, then cross the road and proceed to the house wall in front of you. Turn right and proceed along the wall and then along a fence.

When you reach the corner, follow the kerb which makes two 45-degree, left-hand bends in close succession. You have now reached the street “Grütlistrasse”. After about 5 metres turn right and cross the road. Continue straight on into the cobblestoned street “Gablerstrasse”.

Keep to the right kerb and continue up the steeply climbing street. After about a hundred metres the streets flattens out – at the same time it swerves gently to the right.

When you reach a driveway, the kerb flattens. Turn left and cross the “Gablerstrasse” and enter “Rieter Park” through a wrought-iron gate.

Follow the gently rising path, keeping to the righthand edge of the path. After a left bend, go around a pillar and continue along the edge past a pergola. When you reach the end of the pergola, turn right and continue along the outer edge of the pergola, first around a corner to the left and then around two corners to the right.

At the end of the pergola, you come upon the cafeteria. Turn left and follow the cafeteria’s glass wall. When you reach the end of the glass wall, go around the wheelchair ramp to your right. Then proceed towards the house in front of you. The entrance to the museum is roughly 2 metres on your left.

Enter the vestibule and proceed across carpet until you reach the second door. The ticket desk is on your right.
