Guhyamanjuvajra

Guhyamanjuvajra

Guhyamanjuvajra is the embodiment of a complex philosophical text: every detail in this figure has a symbolic meaning and refers to a specific viewpoint. As they meditate, practitioners concentrate on each element, allowing it to appear before their mind’s eye, and ultimately they come to identify with the deity.

Guhyamanjuvajra is shown in sexual union with his consort. The fusion of the female and male principles symbolizes the elimination of opposites and thus refers to the All-encompassing.
