Jambhala, the God of Wealth

Jambhala, the God of Wealth

Jambhala is the guardian of the north as well as the god of wealth. He rides a blue snow lion and is accompanied by eight spirit generals. In one hand he clutches a mungo, a cat-like animal whose jaws pour out jewels in a promise of an end to poverty. Good at fighting snakes, the mungo can also help overcome craving and possessiveness.
