Green Tara (Shyama Tara)

Green Tara (Shyama Tara)

Tara personifies absolute compassion; devotees call upon her for help whenever they are in difficulty. She is depicted as a young woman of ideal beauty and charm.

This cast alloy figure demonstrates superlative artistry in Tara’s elegant poise and the intricate design of her jewellery. She wears bangles on her ankles, wrists, and upper arms, an elaborate necklace, delicate waist chains, large round earrings, and an eight-lobed crown.
